When you use the batch code lookup feature, the brand name and batch code you enter are processed locally in your browser and are never uploaded to or stored on our servers.

We may automatically record technical information such as your IP address, browser type and access time in server logs, for the purposes of system security maintenance and traffic analysis. This information is not linked to your personal identity.

2. Local Storage (localStorage)

This Site uses browser local storage (localStorage) to keep the following data:

• My Vanity: cosmetic product information you add yourself (brand, batch code, shelf life, etc.);
• Lookup History: your most recent batch code lookups (up to 20 entries are retained);
• Lookup Cache: a temporary cache of batch code lookup results, used to speed up repeat lookups.

The data described above is stored solely on your device and is never transmitted to us or to any third-party server. You can delete all locally stored information at any time by clearing your browser data.

3. Use of Cookies

This Site does not set cookies of its own. However, third-party vendors, including Google AdSense, may use cookies or similar technologies to collect information and to serve interest-based advertising.
