The results are compiled from publicly available batch code conventions, and their accuracy depends on whether the brand has changed its coding scheme; errors are therefore possible. The production date printed on the product packaging, or information provided through the brand's official channels, shall govern.

2. Not an Official Service

The Site is an independently operated third-party tool and is not affiliated with, authorized by or in any partnership with any cosmetics brand, manufacturer or distributor. The lookup function does not represent the official position or certification of any brand, and the results have no legal effect.

3. Data Sources

The batch code decoding data on the Site is drawn from the following sources:

• research into and compilation of publicly available cosmetic batch code conventions;
• results returned by publicly accessible third-party interfaces;
• experience and feedback shared by the user community.

We use reasonable efforts to keep this data accurate, but we give no warranty as to its completeness, timeliness or correctness. Brands may revise their batch code conventions at any time without notice.

4. Encrypted Batch Codes

Certain brands, such as Chanel and SK-II, have adopted encrypted batch code systems whose codes cannot be decoded using publicly available rules. For those brands, the Site will label the code as “Encrypted” and provide a link to the brand's official verification channel for your reference.

5. Shelf Life and Expiry Estimates

The shelf life and expiry dates calculated by the Site are based on the brand's general shelf-life standards and do not take into account the actual storage conditions of the product, whether it has been opened, or similar factors. The actual usable life of a cosmetic product may vary depending on storage environment, frequency of use and other factors. Please also consider the actual condition of the product, such as changes in odor, texture or color, and decide for yourself whether to continue using it.
